Keeping our clients safer.

When a person you love is living alone, it's no surprise that you might worry about whether they are safe.   For example, if they had an accident, such as a fall, would they be able to get to a phone and make a call for help?  If the person lives with dementia and wanders away from home, how would you know where they are?

We work closely with our clients to ensure that they are as safe as possible when living independently, even when one of our CAREGivers is not there with them.  In a situation where an older person is in difficulty, we work with a partner called PPP Taking Care, who provide a range of personal alarms.

In the examples above, if an older person has a fall and is wearing a personal alarm then all they need to do is press the button on the alarm.  This alerts a call centre at PPP Taking Care who will then respond to the emergency.  A GPS personal alarm will use a discreet tracker so that the person's exact location can be pinpointed.  Again, the call centre will be able to alert help.

We truly believe that use of more technology is the way forward in providing and supporting care for older people.  Get in touch with us today on 01252 758716 to find out more about the support we can provide.
