CAREGivers celebrate long service with us!
We actively look for ways to let our lovely team of CAREGivers know how much we truly appreciate them. They do an outstanding job of supporting and caring for our elderly clients around the Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot and Fleet areas and deserve our acknowledgement!
Whenever clients give us positive feedback about their CAREGivers, we award the CAREGiver a pin badge (there are bronze, silver and gold levels) to wear on their lanyards, and pass the client comments on so that our staff are aware just how much their care means.
We also unveiled a specially-commissioned plaque this week, commemorating our achievement of an 'Outstanding' rating for care from the Care Quality Commission. This is now on permanent display in our office hallway where all our visitors can see it. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the contribution of all our current CAREGivers and, indeed, those who have also left the business in the recent past. Everyone has also been given an additional day's holiday entitlement during the next holiday year in 2020 as an added bonus.
When we looked back at our records, we realised just how many of our CAREGivers had been working for us for a long while (the longest serving members have been here 10 years!). Not ones to miss an opportunity to say 'thank you', we created an 'Appreciation Certificate' which we now award to any CAREGiver with more than one year of service, together with a service award pin badge. It gave us great pleasure to hand these out at our CAREGiver meetings this week and we look forward to being able to present more of these in the future.
