Happiness survey conducted with care workers in Epsom


We all know that happy staff make for a successful business and one local company is going the extra mile to ensure they are getting it right.

Indeed the company, Home Instead Senior Care in Epsom and Mole Valley is so intent on making sure their care workers are happy that they recently asked them to take part in a ‘happiness’ survey.

No stone was left unturned in this quest for CAREGiver happiness with staff asked about all aspects of their working lives including training, ongoing support, pride in working for the company and having the time to properly care for clients.

Business owners Paul and Jill Tame were delighted to receive a resounding thumbs up from the team with 98% saying they are proud to work for the company.

Paul said, “There is often bad press about short duration care visits but we take a different approach and our minimum call is one hour – as a result 96% said they were given enough time to care. 99% said they felt well matched to their clients.

“99% of staff said their job gave them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.”

With significant growth in the number of clients they serve, Home Instead currently has 40 vacancies for CAREGivers in the local area.
