We have received the 5 Star Employer in Care Award

Earlier this year our staff were asked to take part in a satisfaction survey of Home Instead Epping Forest by an independent company. I am delighted with the findings, I am so proud of the team I am building here, the office staff and the CAREGivers are fantastic. Changing the face of homecare isn’t just about our clients. It is also about our CAREGivers, the incredible people who go the extra mile each and every day caring for their clients, special people who are recruited for their empathy and compassion.

What caregivers said (in their words):

‘Home Instead is a brilliant company to work for. They look after their staff and give you the training you need to be an excellent caregiver.’
‘They have a very strong ethos on providing the best care possible to our clients. If you need to talk they are always there to listen and advise.’
‘Very rewarding and fits with my lifestyle.’
‘Great company good working conditions.’
‘Flexible hours and very rewarding. In terms of management one of the best places I have worked.’
‘The people are all caring without exception.’
‘I love working for the company.’

We are now a 5 Star Employer!

Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz, the awards organisers said, “We would like to congratulate Home Instead Epping Forest as a 5 Star Employer. What makes this award extra special is it’s based on feedback from their CAREGivers and is only awarded to the top 10% of companies that enter the Best Employers in Care Awards. The care sector too often receives negative publicity – in contrast Home Instead has a strong culture whereby CAREGivers have the right support and training; are well led and have a strong commitment to deliver outstanding care.”

The results show that CAREGivers feel valued, respected and part of the bespoke Home Instead ethos. We are committed to providing only the very best care and companionship to our clients, together we are changing the face of homecare.

As a special thank you to my team I plan to hold a Pampering Day at the Quaker House in Epping where all staff can pop in during the day for a mini manicure or some relaxing treatment, have something to eat and drink and generally have a lovely chilled time. Photos of the day will follow!
