Registered Care Manager
Bonus scheme, employee assistance programme, pension.
Home Instead Down and Lisburn is on a mission to give as many older people as possible the choice to continue living in their own home.
We have been in Saintfield since 2015 and opened a Newcastle, Co. Down office in 2022. We are an ambitious organisation with family values and the advantage of the Home Instead franchise network.
Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for adults. With award winning training and an outstanding reputation we are proud of the quality of care we provide.
Growing older can be very stressful for some people, so can you imagine taking someone out of their home too? Our CARE Professionals allow older people to live long and happy lives at home, whilst promoting their dignity and independence. Providing thoughtful care to each client from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day, having the right support at home makes all the difference – not only keeping clients safe and well, but allowing them to find joy in even the little things – a memory shared, a tasty meal enjoyed, a pleasant drive, a newly-tidy room.
We are looking for a Registered Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead based in Saintfield.
This is a role for someone who shares our passion for quality care and is ambitious. You will take responsibility for our service covering greater Belfast, Down and Lisburn as our organisation grows.
You will be our RQIA registered manager with responsibility for managing the Down & Lisburn team responsible for scheduling, client care and quality assurance.
Area Team Leaders and schedulers will directly report to you. Other support functions including Recruitment, Training, Finance, etc. report into the Operations Manager or the Head of CAREGiver Experience, but you will daily work alongside the whole office support team and will steer all staff in matters of regulation and quality.
If you want to shape and lead a care company that you would want to support your own family, then please do get in touch.
You will need to have:
- Experience as a registered manager
- Proven people management skills (5+ years’ experience desirable)
- A solid understanding of RQIA regulations
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Leadership – completed or close to completion (this is a mandatory RQIA requirement. An equivalent qualification may apply for Nurse Managers or other Health Care Professionals)
We offer a competitive salary (£35-40k pa), bonus scheme, and employee assistance programme.
