Lynn Elliott

I came to Home Instead Senior Care after 18 years in IT, in management roles including sales, marketing and operations, in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

When I was investigating ideas for a new business, I went looking for organisations that have done great things for older people, and I found Home Instead. I have wonderful older people in my life, with stories and memories and rich life experiences which are so meaningful even when physical frailty becomes a reality or memory loss kicks in. I believe the company of the right CAREGiver can harness those memories and life experiences and help our elderly retain quality of life in each new day.

Care Manager and Head of Client Experience, Julia Wade

Julia Wade, Care Manager & Head of Client Experience

My background is in social housing, homelessness and housing advice where I was a senior manager in local government.  I was my father’s main carer for 12 years and this inspired me to change careers.  I now have 18 years’ experience in care, running my own businesses in England, both in care training and in home care. 

My husband and I moved to Northern Ireland 5 years ago to be closer to our son and daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren. In that time I have managed home care in Belfast and, since May 2018, here at Home Instead, Down & Lisburn, as the Registered Care Manager and Head of Client Experience. 

When I’m not working my grandchildren are teaching me to play again.  I also love being outside in the fresh air gardening or walking and when the weather’s not so good I enjoy trying my hand at any type of crafts. 

Head of CAREGiver Experience and Trainer, Mahan Salgado

Mahan Salgado - Head of CAREGiver Experience & Trainer

As Head of CAREGiver Experience, I look after CAREGiver's Learning and Development and I also work with Noleen on Recruitment to ensure that our clients get the right CAREGivers to help them stay at home.

I am living proof that hard work and having a passion for your work can pave a way for career progression.  I started working with Home Instead in its early months as a part-time CAREGiver.  I have also worked in several roles within the office including Training, Recruitment and Scheduling.  

I am a proud mother of a sassy daughter who tells others that her mum helps make people's lives better.  Being part of Home Instead Senior Care is like being part of a family where I get supported and nurtured to be the person that I aspire to be.

Lisa Taggart - Team Leader Belfast & Downpatrick

Lisa Taggart - Team Leader

I joined Home Instead in June 2019 as a Team Leader of Belfast and Downpatrick areas.

I have worked in the caring sector for a long time, working in nursing homes and then moved into the acute nursing setting of Belfast City Hospital where I worked in the Renal Department for a number of years.

I am enjoying my role and look forward to going to work everyday!

Accounts & Payroll, Kerry Brennan

Kerry Brennan - Accounts & Payroll

I became a member of the Home Instead team in October 2017. My background has always been in finance since the age of 18 when I first started out. 

I tend to work behind the scenes in the office looking after all things relating to accounts and payroll which is my passion.  I provide back-up for the team and help with the on-call rota too.  I enjoy having regular conversations with the clients and CAREGivers and it’s great to meet the new CAREGiver’s at team meetings or when they pop into the office for a cuppa.

This is my first role working for a company in the care industry.  It’s great to work with a team of like-minded people and who care so passionately for their clients and staff, lead by inspiring director.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, studying for my next qualification with the Institute of Certified Book-keepers, and gardening when the weather is good!

Compliance Officer - Carrie Ewing

Carrie Ewing - Compliance Officer

I joined the Home Instead team in September 2016 as part-time Office Administrator and more recently have progressed into a Compliance and office supporting role. My background is mainly in Administration and had previously held this role for 12 years in a Residential Home.

I enjoy coming to work and being part of a team where everyone shares the same passion in providing an excellent service of care to our community and help individuals remain independently living in their own homes.

At home I have my husband Dave and our two young children Chloe and Curtis, and we are expecting number three early 2020, so there is never a dull moment.

I enjoy keeping fit and have recently taken to running. I enjoy family trips out and visiting close family abroad.

Recruiter - Noleen Lindsay

Noleen Lindsay - Recruiter

I joined Home Instead Senior Care in May 2017 as a CAREGiver and loved getting to know clients around my area.   With helping to support my clients at home was like being part of their wider family circle as they came to rely on me and even saw me as part of their family.

In May 2018, I began to work as part-time Senior CAREGiver along with my regular CAREGiving duties.  As the business was growing, there was a need for a part-time Recruiter which I took on alongside the Senior CAREGiver role.  From April 2019, I am now the full-time Recruiter and work along with Mahan in helping to acquire other great CAREGivers for our clients.

My background was as a florist, which I still enjoy doing displays for friends from time to time, and also in sales in the furniture business.  I had helped to care for family members and after they passed I missed that kind of work, hence my employment with Home Instead.

I have two dogs and love to get out with them, and enjoy time out with family and friends.

Lisa Gibson - Scheduler

Lisa Gibson - Scheduler

I joined Home Instead in September 2019 as the scheduler.

I have worked in the Health Care sector for thirteen years working as a Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant and Residential Unit Manager.

I have completed Health & Social Care Level II and III and currently going to be commencing Health & Social Care Level V in Management and Leadership.

I enjoy time with family, friends and walking.

Eleesa McCabe - Admin/Reception/Social Media

Eleesa McCabe - Receptionist & Administrator

I have been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2016, starting off as a CAREGiver, progressing into scheduling and then taking up the post of Receptionist with Administration and general office duties.

My background varies, from art and music to secretarial work and also caring for others.

Home Instead Senior Care has a great concept in helping people stay at home, with their personal touch and expertise in the care industry, in having CAREGiver's spending quality time with their clients and tailoring the care to the clients' needs.  The office is like another home with it's friendly staff and warm atmosphere, and am proud to be a part of the team in Saintfield.
