Teams from Home Instead in Colchester and Frinton joined forces to represent Home Instead at the Wellbeing Market in Colchester recently. Owner of Home Instead Colchester, Julie Price, and Networker for the Frinton office, Stephanie Blackman, had a great day answering questions from the many passers-by and providing information about the services that Home Instead offers.
Organised by Colchester Borough Council, the Wellbeing Market played host to many local organisations including Age UK, North East Essex NHS, and Alzheimer’s Society. The event was a fabulous opportunity for the local community to meet agencies who could improve the quality of their lives, or that of their relatives.
Julie commented, ‘It was a lovely event. So many families struggle with elderly relatives and don’t know where to turn for support so events such as these are really important to ensure that the local community is well informed.”
Home Instead offers a range of services for their elderly clients, including meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders and daily errands, so that they can continue to live in their own home for as long as possible.
