Home Instead supports Alzheimer's Society Safety Event

On Wednesday 14th October Home Instead had a great time participating in the Alzheimer's Society Home Safety Event. We did a short presentation on 'Senior Fraud' talking about the various scams that can rob the elderly of their money, confidence and dignity. Also at this event were the Essex Police who had a great bookette entitled 'Fraud isnt just a scam' which participants were eager to take home following our talk. Also at the event were the Red Cross, Careline, Falls Prevention and Military Wives. The Military Wives had some totally delicious cakes for sale. Always with an eye for a bargain Home Instead bought up two trays left over at the end and donated them to the Frinton Free Church for their groups there. We figured it would be better going on their hips than ours! The event was very well attended and supported by those who attend the Alzheimer's Society Dementia Cafe and support groups. Home Instead thoroughly enjoyed participating in this event and we know the participants left talking about how much they had learnt. For more information and pictures please see our Facebook page
