One of the sure fire benefits of belonging to the best Care Franchise network is attending the Home Instead Annual Conference. Held in lively Liverpool this was an inspiring, motivational and extremely well run event. You can see in this photo our 4 delegates for the 2017 conference who were from left to right: - myself (owner) Gina (Care Manager) Linda (Senior Caregiver) and Tracey (Scheduler). We are dressed to impress for the awards ceremony at which we received a milestone award for increasing our income. We were also given a special mention for a high score in our quality assurance survey, PEAQ.
At this conference we celebrated achievements for 2017 and heard about new developments to come in 2018 which would keep us at the top of our game. One of them is an end of life course for our caregivers, something our office will really value as many of our clients trust us to be there for them at this time. We can also look forward to an employee assistance programme which will include one to one counselling for all employees in need. I will post more on these topics.
We came back reinvigorated and ready to take 2019 by the horns.
