Welcome To The Team Rachel

Hello I’m Rachel. I have just joined the team at Home Instead Charnwood as the Quality and Compliance Manager. 

I am very excited to join this team as they have achieved so much and have received wonderful recognition of there efforts by both CQC rated as OUTSTANDING and also so many industry recognised awards such as employer of the year and the GBCA.

I have a strong background in the care sector, starting at a very young age when helping my Grandma Bonnie with her ladies clubs, this time was important to me and my development in care as it helped me develop a good understanding of supporting others and seeing everyone as an individual.

I have worked in many roles in care starting out as a care assistant. After a few years I quickly became a team leader with the responsibility of carers growth with skills and moving on to care coordinator and supervisor roles. I have thrived on learning and giving support to others in these roles.

Completing my Level 5 in Management of Health and Social Care gave me the confidence and knowledge to move my career forward into management. To be able to project my love and passion for the care of others and for it to be done to an exceptional standard means everything to me.
