Quality Care Care at Home: Loughborough, Charnwood and Coalville.

“ I just wanted to write to say how grateful I am for the care that the company and your staff provided for my sister. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they seemed more like friends to my sister than care staff. I felt that I could relax knowing that she was well taken care of, and that they would contact me if needed. I was thankful that Yvonne was with me and my husband at the end and helped me through it, showing a lot of empathy and support. I was very impressed with the way you ensured that each carer was introduced to me and my sister beforehand, and that she had a dedicated group of carers. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone. Once again, many thanks J ’’

Client Daughter

I am writing this on behalf on my parents. Initially they were very reluctant to accept any help at all but I met 2 of the management team and they allayed our worries which meant that it was easier to persuade my parents to change their minds. The carers have been so kind & accommodating and they have established a lovely relationship with my parents. It has been such a relief to my siblings and myself, thank you.

On initial enquiry I was invited to the office to discuss the position. I found this an excellent way of recruiting and gave an instant understanding and feeling of the company. My initial training was done on a 1:1 basis. It was clear and easy to follow and I felt able to ask for clarity on anything I was unsure of without feeling silly.

There is great care given to matching the carer and the client. There is continuous support from the office staff if problems arise. There is adequate time given in each appointment to fulfil the care plan agreed with the client.

JS Clients Daughter-in-Law

Since Home Instead have been caring for my mother-in-law. Things have been a lot easier in the mornings and at night knowing that someone is there to help put her to bed and help her get up in the mornings.

A fantastic company to work for or to have care provided for. CAREGivers are well supported and looked after, the clients receive whatever help they need and companionship from people who really care and love their job. The exact care I would want for my loved ones.

Jayne Ward - CAREGiver

Jayne Ward: "Just wanted to update you guys in the office, had a lovely morning with 'M' (Client) today. And guess what she said whilst we were looking at the scrapbook together??"

Client "Thank you for coming and thank you for your help. I enjoy your visits and your company"

Jayne Ward: "I told her that I enjoyed coming too"

Home Instead Charnwood are so pleased we are making a difference - client 'M' has dementia and both her family and our team wondered if she appreciated the visits we made but just to know we are making a small difference to her life and the efforts Jayne goes to, makes us feel very fortunate to be supporting the elderly community and make a difference in people's lives.

Sally-Ann Freer - CAREGiver

"May I say that it's really nice to know that we are welcome to pop into the office spontaneously for a cuppa and chat if/when passing.

I don't use Facebook but would like to express that my experience's with Home Instead Charnwood have been so positive, professional and welcoming. It makes a real difference when representing a company that as CAREGivers we feel supported and that staff have the same or similar values. I'm sure that the business will continue to go from strength to strength."

My Carers came on time were very friendly and professional whilst doing everything asked of them with smiles and chat.

Daughter of Client

"I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead for caregivers. We employed Home Instead on behalf of Mum, initially in January 2018. We all welcomed the fact that there was continuity of the caregivers themselves and that they arrived at the allotted time too. Mum enjoyed the extra companionship/friendship, whether it be over a cuppa at home, a meal out, a trip out to the shops or a drive around the local countryside. The caregivers had an understanding of Mums condition, enabling them to help in any way they could, including taking Mum to surgery/dental appointments. They always showed care and understanding, in what became difficult visits for them all, latterly. The office staff were also attentive when we met or spoke with them. The team, as a whole, were able to offer advice and guidance to us when needed, which enabled us to help with Mums care too"
