Job Description

Salary - Negotiable from £18,000pa

HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE enjoy an enviable reputation as a very high quality domiciliary care provider. Due to continuing growth in Cardiff and Penarth we are now seeking an experienced Care Supervisor with at least one year's experience in Health and Social Care

You are required to be a driver with access to your own car. This role involves;

  • Working days, one of which will be a Saturday.
  • Quality support visits with CAREGiver & client.
  • Support scheduler to organising the rotas by matching caregivers with clients while meeting their preferences in regards to days, times and duration of visits.
  • Review the CAREGiver teams on a bi-monthly basis with the Care Managers and Scheduler.
  • To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards)
  • To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.
  • To carry out the monitoring of the service in the field to ensure that it meets the quality targets of the Company, and to keep the Care Manager(s) informed of the outcomes and issues that are identified.
  • Report any issues regarding the legislative requirements concerning the services provided and the staff providing them to the Care Manager(s).
  • Review written Care Plans
Qualifications

You are likely to have QCF Level 2/3 Health & Social Care or equivalent AND 1 to 2 years experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care. You will also have a passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes. The successful candidate will also be:

  • Able to work one day on the weekend
  • Personable
  • Driver with access to a car
  • People focussed with a desire to deliver the best possible service
  • IT Literate
  • People focussed with a desire to deliver the best possible service
  • IT Literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
