Singing for the Brain Docklands

Welcome to Singing for the Brain Docklands!

In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society, Home Instead Canary Wharf has organised a fabulous and engaging singing group for all East London residents who live with dementia and their carers.

The group meets on the second Wednesday of every month between 14:00 – 16:00 at the Museum of London Docklands.

Singing for the Brain
uses singing to bring people with dementia together in a stimulating, fun, friendly and safe environment. Singing has been shown to improve brain activity, well-being and mood.

Our sessions can help to build new friendships, retain or learn new skills, boost confidence, and make people feel more positive and supported.

Music has an amazing effect on the mind. Whether it’s listening, singing, or moving to the rhythm, each session creates powerful connections.

Expect fun vocal warms ups with a variety of familiar and new songs in each session!
