Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.

Thank you Care Professional for all the support you gave our Client. She was grateful for remaining professional and understanding throughout an incident which happened to her husband whilst on the service. This Care Professional has only been with Home Instead a few weeks and already has gone above and beyond for our clients.
Mary has been teaching our Care Professional this week how to make scones. Mary has been carefully matched with her love for baking and they share such as special bond. Mary has been looking forward all week to their visit and making sure all the ingredients were ready. Baking is a great way to keep the clients active and helps to reminisce about family memories and keeps traditional recipes alive for future generations.
