Eat Well to Age Well

Maintaining good nutrition plays an increasingly important role in staying well as we get older, but Home Instead research has found that one in five over-75s struggle to cook their own food, and 30% of over-85s are at risk of malnutrition.

At Home Instead Basingstoke we help a number of our clients with preparation of shopping lists, going out shopping, and meal preparation. Not only does this address specific difficulties resulting from physical constraints or dementia, but it also gives us an opportunity to provide valuable social interaction and enables us to monitor the client’s nutrition.

We would be pleased to discuss your particular needs, and how we can help your loved one to eat well and stay well at home.
