We are proud to announce that we have received a national award as best small (franchise) employer in the care industry. The award was made by independent research agency Smith & Henderson as part of their inaugural Best Employers in Care Awards.
The winning employers were selected on the basis of responses by their employees to Smith & Henderson’s national surveys, in we achieved a 99% satisfaction rating.
Comments by our CAREGivers included; ‘I’m proud to work for Home Instead.’ ‘I feel part of a team,’ and ‘I have a good relationship with the other CAREGivers.’
When asked what we need to improve, one CAREGiver said, ‘Nothing.’ !
We are of course delighted. It is central to our approach to care that our CAREGivers give highly personalised and meaningful support to their clients and we facilitate that by providing all the individual support and training needed by the CAREGivers. Our CAREGivers do a wonderful job and this award is recognition that we all work as a successful team to look after the best interests of our clients.
Virginia, one of our longest standing CAREGivers provided a quote for the press, ‘I love my job, it’s so rewarding, and a real pleasure to care for my lovely clients whilst being valued by my employer. What we do provides a lifeline to many elderly people.
