Home care in Hartley Wintney

Hartley Wintney is a large village in the Hart district of north east Hampshire, about eight miles east of Basingstoke. The parish includes the contiguous village of Phoenix Green and the hamlets of Dipley, Elvetham, Hartfordbridge and West Green, and has a population of around 5,000.

The charming village of Hartley Wintney has a wide high street lined with shops and local businesses, a village green and duck pond, and one of the oldest continuously used cricket grounds in England.  It has an excellent 18 hole, par 71 golf course, and Justin Rose, the 2013 US Open Golf Champion, learnt to play golf in Hartley Wintney.

Beyond the village green lie the stunning Mildmay oak trees, planted patriotically by Lady Mildmay after the Battle of Trafalgar to help provide timber for future naval ships.

Consistently voted one of Britain’s best places to live, it’s not surprising that elderly people in Hartley Wintney want to stay in their own homes, with the benefit of home care by Home Instead Basingstoke.

We have been providing home care services in Hartley Wintney since 2015.  Here’s how one client’s son described our services:

“Home Instead Basingstoke are very friendly, professional and conscientious. They have provided wonderful home visits and care for my mother who is in her nineties.  She enjoys their visits and they are very caring and friendly. The care staff are very good and the management team run the organisation very well in my experience, and they have all been flexible and understanding and very dependable. They have maintained their high standards consistently despite the huge challenges that Covid has added to their workload. We are very grateful for the service they provide.”
