'My training with Home Instead Senior Care was very thorough and comprehensive. Each day of training made me feel ready to be a confident CAREGiver. It was delivered in a manner that was engaging and interesting. The workbooks really reinforced the days learning and the practical Moving & Handling training has given me the skills I will need to assist clients in a professional and caring manner.' ’’

Diane's Testimonial

My name is Diane and I have been working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver since May 2017 and I work approximately 7 hours a week which is perfect for me, I came from a Retail background and moved back to Wiltshire to care for my mum.

I feel that Home Instead is definitely delivering a very good level of quality care. As an employee at Andover and East Wiltshire I feel that we can't be trained to know everything but I know that I am fully supported to do my job well. As a CAREGiver I am given enough time with a client and the client is given the time that’s needed to deliver their care needs, plus have that important cup of tea.

This job is so rewarding, I get so much satisfaction from it. I enjoy looking after people, I'm helping them to be independent and stay in their own homes. We assist and support here at Home Instead. It's a completely freshening role, I get nice feedback from my ladies that I go to and its lovely being able to make someone else's day.

We are a friendly and helpful bunch and I'm not intimidated to ask questions. We are all treated equally which helps me feel I can approach the strengths and weaknesses of each office team member to have my queries answered. The literature is straight forward as are the policies and procedures. As a team we all join in together, talk to each other, get on well and it's a friendly, nice place to work.

I am loving Care and it gives me the freedom I need as an occupation and I am happy with my wage.
