Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.
High-Quality Home Care
We provide Home Care, Live-in Care, Dementia Care, Overnight Care, Companionship Care and other help around the home in Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham, Dagenham and surrounding areas to live a happy, safe and fulfilling life in the comfort of their own home.
Here at Home Instead, we understand that it can be challenging to balance the demands of everyday life while looking after your ageing family and friends, yet more of us are trying to do just that.
We have a team of wonderful local CAREGivers who are able to support your loved one with day-to-day life while remaining in the comfort of their home.
From helping around the home, companionship, light housekeeping, running errands, shopping, medication management to specialised care such as live-in care, overnight care or dementia care, our CAREGivers are here to support their needs.
We pride ourselves on providing home care that is person-centred. This means that the care we provide is based on the needs of the individual, their condition and circumstances.
Home care is a safe alternative to residential care homes and allows people to remain in a place they are familiar with surrounded by memories, belongings and items collected throughout the years.
What makes Home Instead unique is that we provide home care visits for a minimum of one hour per visit. This allows us to build incredible relationships with our clients and provide the support they need to allow them to live a happy and high quality of life at home without the need to rush.
Home Care You Can Trust
In recent times, it has been overwhelming to see the acts of kindness from people across the world and the efforts people have gone through to help and protect others. This makes us incredibly proud of the national effort from our Home Instead offices to protect the vulnerable.
There is no question that it takes an extra special person to become a CAREGiver, someone who is kind, compassionate, trustworthy and who goes the extra mile to make a positive impact on someone's life.
The team here in the Romford office are incredible; every day our CAREGivers & staff go above and beyond to show how dedicated they are to their roles of helping those who need it.

For those living with dementia, moments of relief can be extremely limited. The debilitating syndrome, associated with an ongoing decline of brain functionality, is known for being a progressive condition that among other symptoms, results in memory loss.
Being an older person need not mean you have to compromise or feel limited when it comes to taking part in activities outdoors and adventure. Finding interests that you enjoy can be hugely positive for your personal wellbeing and is often a simple way to help maintain a good quality of life.
My journey began as a CAREGiver earlier in July this year (2020) when my previous role in another company had come to an end due to the outbreak of coronavirus. I hadn’t thought much about it or considered a career in care, but, when I saw the Home Instead job advertisement I was intrigued and thought I would give it a go. I haven’t looked back and the only thing I regret is not doing this sooner!
