What did you do before you came to Home Instead? I have been with Home Instead almost 5 years now! Before joining I was a stay at home mum with my four children! Why did you join us? My youngest child was at full time school and I wanted to do something for myself. Being a CAREGiver suited my nature and I’m very pleased I decided to apply for the role. I’m very grateful to Home Instead for giving me the chance to enjoy such a rewarding role! What does a Coordinator do? I help match CAREGivers to clients, assure care calls are in place and work with the clients and their families in providing the care that they require. Any special message for the CAREGivers or clients that live in her area? I do believe that our team of CAREGivers is the best and this is why and how we deliver outstanding care to our clients! Thank you all so much for all that you do! What do you like to do for fun out of work? I love to spend as much time as I can with my grandchildren. Sometimes I catch up with family and friends or just stay at home relaxing with the husband in front of the TV. Music is a huge passion for me so there’s always something playing in a room in the house. Congratulations on your recent Safeguarding Course. What did you learn? Thank you! The day was so informative and I learnt so much about Safeguarding! Most importantly I learnt how to deal with safeguarding concerns and the importance of being person centered when dealing with these concerns. f you wanted to tell us one thing about Safeguarding, what would it be? I would say there are many different types of abuse so if in doubt it’s always best to report it. You can never report too much!
