Health care Information Day - 2018
Thursday 20th September 2018 saw our second Health Care Information Day take place. Sticking with our venue at Hope Church, we welcomed back companies that exhibited last year, and a few new ones as well.
Home Instead, Age UK, The Alzheimer’s Society, Carelink, Community Connect, CURO, Designate, the Falls & Frailty Service, Good Care Group, John Hodge Solicitors, N.Somerset Health Trainers, the Stroke Association and Wiltshire Farm Foods were all on hand to offer support and advice to visitors.
At this year’s event, we also arranged for our Managing Director to run informative workshop sessions for guests to attend. We ran a 45 minute Scam Awareness session, followed by a Nutrition Workshop which we delivered in partnership with Wiltshire Farm Foods. We also took the opportunity to raise money for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning initiative by serving tea and cakes for a donation. The event was well attended and was a successful second year for us.
