They focused on mum’s needs and the daily communication provided me with a full understanding on how she was progressing. After awhile my dad also needed some care which Home Instead provided, at times this was challenging care but all the carers supported mum and dad wonderfully until eventually my parents needs required 24 hour care in a care home. “This is first class quality care. I am so pleased we have found these lovely carers to look after my dad, at 86 years old, in his home. He now looks forward to them arriving and they have formed their own relationships with my dad as they see him on a regular basis. The daily communication is invaluable as dad, since his stroke, isn’t able to tell us who he’s seen as his short term memory is not good now. I can check in on my phone to see how his day is going. It is easy to ask for weekend cover and assistance to medical appts and trips to the shops.
