High-Quality Home Care

To The Communities in St Albans, Harpenden, Radlett & Surrounding Areas

As we grow older, there may come a time when we start to find that getting around the home and completing tasks that were once easy have now become a little more challenging.

It can be deflating to accept that you may need assistance with day-to-day life, but it doesn't need to be.

Our CAREGivers have been helping support hundreds of families to remain safe in their homes.

From small to big tasks, there is much more to home care than dressing, bathing and personal care. Our CAREGivers can help with a variety of tasks to help around the home.

Asking for additional support doesn't mean that you have failed; it means that you are not alone.

Often people think that needing additional help means that you need to move into a care home, this isn't the case, we offer many services to help you remain safe and independent in the comfort of your own home.

We understand that at first, the idea of someone coming into the home and providing home care can be slightly daunting. That's why we take extra special measures to ensure we select the perfect CAREGiver for you and your loved one.

CAREGivers You Can Trust

In recent times we have all seen the acts of kindness from and efforts people have gone to help and protect others.

This makes us incredibly proud of the national effort from our Home Instead offices to support and protect the vulnerable.

It takes an extra special person to become a CAREGiver, someone who is kind, compassionate and trustworthy and who goes the extra mile to make a positive impact on people's lives.

The team here in the St Albans office are incredible; every day, our CAREGivers & staff go above and beyond to show how dedicated they are to their roles of helping those who need it most.

What makes Home Instead stand out from others is that they invest in their people.

Home Instead developed and created specialist care courses that are accredited by City & Guilds.

All of our CAREGivers get enrolled in a series of intensive training sessions where they go on to receive an accredited certification upon completion.

We take extra precautions to look after and protect our clients and have a thorough background check and vetting process to be completed before a CAREGiver begins their career with Home Instead.

Once you're signed up, we go through an in-depth process to ensure that your requirements and personality get correctly matched with the perfect CAREGiver.

We want everyone from client to CAREGiver to feel comfortable and happy at all times, and this allows us to provide the most personal and best home care possible.

Flexible Help at Home Tailored Entirely To Your Requirements

Once you've booked your free care consultation, we take the time to listen, get to know you and understand your exact needs.

During your assessment, we will ask a series of questions and make sure we create the best care plan for you.

We want to know how we can best support you with the most reliable home help and support we can offer.

A home care plan will then be created based on your personal requirements.

Once we have agreed on the best plan of care for you, we will arrange when your CAREGiver will begin to assist you with the home help and support you need.

Having a CAREGiver will not only help you around the home, but it will improve your quality of life at home and provide you and your family with a trustworthy and reliable companionship.

You will wonder how you got by without a CAREGiver before!

How to age well

Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.
