In April 2022, The Care Workers' Charity held their annual 'Wear and Care Week'. At Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley, we were thrilled to be able to get involved in support of this incredible charity that supports almost 2 million care workers in the UK.
“Care Workers Charity are running a Wear and Care Week taking place from 4th – 10th April. It’s an excuse for you and your colleagues to get dressed up and raise some funds for The CWC, who support the almost 2 million care workers in the UK. Wear and Care Week is something we can all take part in, just pick a theme such as super heroes, black and white, animals, the 70s, or even a dress down day – let your imagination run wild. All you have to do is ask your colleagues to get involved and ask them to donate to The Care Workers’ Charity that day."
For our theme, we chose a suitable dress code of 'Anything beginning with 'H", for 'Home'! It was great to see what everyone came up with, and all for a great cause. Above, you can see a 'Hermione' and 'Heavy Metal'!
