Our CAREGivers, Clients and Key Players Complete Their PEAQ Survey

What is PEAQ?

PEAQ stands for “Pursing Excellence by Advancing Quality” and it is Home Instead’s annual survey for our CAREGivers, Clients and Key Players. The survey is completed anonymous, and is run by an independent research company, Smith and Henderson.

The PEAQ programme has now started, the office is ‘trimmed’ up with bunting and balloons, and we are encouraging all CAREGivers to come into the office to complete an online version of the survey. All of our clients have also received a paper copy of the survey which they will be asked to complete themselves, or with a family member or friend, and return it by the 1st of July.

The PEAQ programme is carried out by each Home Instead office around the UK, and we will receive the results of the survey in September. These results are very important, and we value the thoughts and opinions of our CAREGivers, Clients and Key players. We are committed to providing award winning quality care and through the PEAQ process we are able to see what is working well and also listen and act on the issues raised by CAREGivers, Clients or Key Players.  

Last year the results were fantastic, and we are hoping for the same again this year! 100% of our clients said that their CAREGiver takes an interest in them as a person, and 100% of our CAREGivers said they understand why Home Instead is different from other care companies.
