It has been a great week for Home Instead Sheffield as we welcomed 12 new CAREGivers to the Home Instead team!
Our 12 new recruits came from different sources such as; Recruitment events, web visits, magazine adverts and more! They began their Induction training on Monday and went through each day learning about the ins and outs of Home Instead and along the way gaining all the tools needed to be a brilliant Home Instead CAREGiver.
On Thursday they completed their moving and handling training and finished the induction course meaning they are now ready to pull on their mask and cape and join our team of real life superheroes.
We presented each inductee with their certificates and had a group photo which will appear in the newsletter. We, as well as our new CAREGivers, are excited about the journey they are about to embark upon and we know they will be brilliant.
Here is what Bryn Evans (Owner of Home Instead Sheffield) had to say:
“It’s great to see more people coming to Home Instead and wanting to change our client’s lives for the better.
“Our CAREGivers are vital to what we are trying to do and by having more CAREGivers available to us, the better quality care we can provide. A recent report has found that care is the career of the future so hopefully the stigma surrounding care jobs is starting to fade and people are starting to see that a role with Home Instead can be very rewarding.
“All of the CAREGivers on our induction training are lovely, they all seem raring to go and I have no doubts they will be brilliant. I personally would like to wish them the best of luck and assure them that our existing CAREGivers and the office team are on hand to provide any support should they need it”.
