Monday the 21st of September is World Alzheimer’s Day. To mark this day we hold workshops throughout the year to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s and other Dementias.
These workshops are FREE for anyone to attend and provide you with all the details that you would require if your loved one or someone else you know is living with dementia.
Below is a breakdown of how the workshop is split into the 3 days:
Day 1 of the workshop covers a broad background into Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementias and is a fantastic opportunity for members of the community to come along and get a clearer insight into Dementia and what they can do to stop the signs of this disease.
Day 2 & 3 includes capturing life’s journey and techniques to handle challenging behaviours
And finally Day 4 involves a range of activities to encourage engagement and participation
