Friendship Lunches

Friendship Lunches

The Friendship Lunches are going very well and are ideal for everyone, but particularly for elderly, lonely and/or socially isolated people.  We have 3 events planned – Crosspool Tavern on Monday, 4 September (£6), The Old Rolling Pin at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge, on Thursday, 7 September (£6), and on Monday, 11 September (£5) at Burton Street Foundation at Hillsborough.  The price includes a delicious 2 course meal and entertainment.

The photograph shows Kay, our oldest client, who was celebrating her 107th birthday with the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Anne Murphy, and guests at the Crosspool Tavern Friendship Lunch….

The events are really enjoyable and undoubtedly an excellent way to spend an afternoon, chatting, laughing, dancing and making friends….
