The Care Quality Comission (CQC) regulates health and social care throughout England. Home care providers strive for CQC compliance by meeting all their standards during inspection. WIthout CQC compliance it is very hard to operate within the health and social care sector, and some home care businesses have action enforced against them, which can lead to closures. Laing and Buisson have recently published a quarterly report detailing which homecare providers in England are performing well, in terms of their compliance with the standards set by the CQC.
Once again Home Instead have remained on top, compared to other home care providers on the list, with an overall compliance score of 93.9%. This means that out of 116 local Home Instead operations inspected by the CQC, 93.9% (including Home Instead Sheffield North) are found to be CQC compliant. This shows that our quality care at home has maintained it's excellence nationwide.
Sue Slattery, Care Manager of the Sheffield North office said, "It is fantastic to hear that Home Instead is working well not just in Sheffield but on a national scale also. Home Instead in general aims to always hit a high standard when it comes to home care".
