Caring Enis nominated for national award

Enis Evans who works as a caregiver for Home Instead in Sheffield has been nominated for a national award for her outstanding services to the care sector. Enis consistently goes above and beyond to deliver an outstanding service to all her clients. As a result she is now one of only ten finalists nationally out of more than 3000 caregivers and is now a contender for the prestigious title of ‘Caregiver of the Year’.

Enis is aged 68 and lives in Doncaster. She was put forward for the award by the Home Instead head of care Sarah Oldham who was keen to spread the word about the fantastic work that Enis had been doing. In nominating Enis, Sarah commented: “Enis was our very first caregiver. As she has a background in nursing, she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping others. Enis is thoughtful, humorous and loving and always goes above and beyond to cater for her clients’ needs.”

She continued: “Enis is the perfect advocate for Home Instead. She has found a friend in each and every one of her clients and is truly passionate about providing them with the support they need to stay living independently in their own homes.

Enis is thrilled and humbled to be nominated for the award. She commented: “I love my job! It is great to be able to help others for a living, and to be a finalist for this award really is the icing on the cake.”

Home Instead now has over 80 offices across the UK and all offices were invited to nominate a caregiver for the prestigious award. The company’s national head office has interviewed each of the 10 finalists and the winner will be announced at the organisation’s national conference which is to take place in September.
