Home Instead are proud to announce that a project we support have recently claimed 1st prize at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Barnsley Community Foundation project Barnsley Shopability was recently nominated in the Utilities category at the Barnsley Civic Trust Awards.
The awards evening is held in order to recognise the shop owners and workers within the town centre of Barnsley and present awards in a range of categories from Market Stalls, to large shops.
Nigel Roberts (Project Co-Ordinator at Barnsley Shopability) had this to say: “I am absolutely chuffed to bits; we all thought it was just nice to be here never mind win the award!”
“It is nice to see that we are recognised for the service we provide to the people living within Barnsley as well as the help and support we provide to our clients who use our service.”
“This is a team effort and it is not just down to one person, over the last two years we have built this project up from nothing to a service we are very proud of and I would like to thank everyone involved”.
Well done Shopability
