Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley are delighted to announce the arrival of 7 new superhero CAREGivers!
Each one of these new CAREGivers have come from different career backgrounds, some have been involved in care before while others haven’t but they are all united in one thing; they all want to help change our clients lives!
Before participating on the four day training course, we collect 3 personal and 3 professional references for each individual to ensure our clients have the greatest CAREGivers possible, alongside the client to carer matching process.
To ensure the training course is of a high standard we allocate Care managers, Senior CAREGivers and Care Coordinators to deliver the training. This allows the new recruits to meet most of the team throughout the week and then meet the rest at the end of the week when we present them with their certificates on the final day.
Bryn Evans, owner of Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley said: “We are thrilled to have our new recruits on board and we know they will be great, a lot of work goes into induction week and it is great to see their smiling faces once they receive their certificate at the end of it!”
“We are continuing to recruit more CAREGivers to ensure we can continue to provide care of the highest quality. We are hosting more recruitment open days throughout Sheffield and Barnsley in an attempt to bring more kind, caring and compassionate individuals on board.”
“Personally I would like to wish our new recruits the best of luck and assure them that we are here 24/7 should they need anything at all.”
This month we also welcome Lucy Astle, who will be our new marketing placement student when Brad heads back to university in August. We are all looking forward to working with Lucy and we believe she will be a great asset to the business. Below is what Lucy said about her interview process at Home Instead:
‘’From my first interview here at Home Instead it was clear to me that this was the company ideal for my placement year. From the moment I walked into the office for my first interview everyone in the office greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile which immediately made me very excited to start working here. Brad, the previous placement student has been a great asset to me, and has been very patience and I look forward to my year ahead here.’’
