The caregivers at Home Instead have been looking after our sister for the last seven months. We got in touch with them when it was clear that she required help with daily living. We are active members of the Walkden and wider Salford community, running our popular ‘Cuppa and Company’ group every Thursday morning at All Saints Church in Wardley. Our weekly sessions, led by our community champion Joanne Robinson, bring local people over 60 together from 10:30am to 12pm for coffee, cake, games and friendship. We also support local Memory Cafes across Salford, creating vital spaces where people living with dementia and their families can connect with others, share experiences and find support in a relaxed setting.
