The Art of Glass (Part One)

When Angelina from Glass By Design obtained funding to take their sessions out into the community, we were thrilled to suggest and support them offering some to Rondel House.

When Angelina from Glass By Design obtained funding to take their sessions out into the community, we were thrilled to suggest and support them offering some to Rondel House.

We supported the centre guests to produce a beautiful design on a glass tile.

With Angelina’s expert guidance, templates and coloured glass, we were able to support everyone participating to complete a picture of their choice, in the colours of their choosing.

Lots of chat and fun took place around this activity and we shall collect the pieces for delivery to Rondel, when Angelina has fired them.

Having a solid “keepsake” when someone has a dementia diagnosis, not only gives them something to hold onto as an experience, but is also lovely for loved ones to have as a reminder of that special person.

We also have craft sessions at our Memory Cafés in Penarth and Whitchurch.
