We like to support our local charities – Christmas 2011

At Christmas it’s especially easy to get involved with our community, many people help to decorate a tree in a local village, Burton Overy. It’s not far from Kibworth (famous last year through the “Story of England” BBC TV series.

The Home Instead Senior Care tree was entitled “Christmas at Home” and contributed to the fundraising for the beautiful St Andrews Church. Our gorgeous tree was from Grange Farm, Thorpe Langton, grown and cut and delivered personally, with style!

Our team including Angela, (one of our first Carers!) also helped with the Market Harborough Christmas Late Night Shopping – a sparkling icy night saw the team selling raffle tickets and enjoying Late Night Shopping spirits! The main roads close & mince pies with mulled wine complete the opportunity to catch up with friends & to tell people about the various local Charities who benefit.
