I've worked in the care sector for over 20 years, joining Home Instead as a caregiver, whilst studying part time, & completing my BA Honours degree in health and social care in 2017. I enjoy watching my children play football, walking my dog & spending time with my horses!

I started as a caregiver at Home Instead to Assistant Care Manager today. Prior I worked in younger childrens’ services. I'm a people-person & discovered caring for older people is hugely rewarding! I love looking after people & still look after 2 young people of my own.

Joining Home Instead with a part-time role in 2019, I have became a full-time member of the care team! I really enjoy my role & have achieved my Level 3 in Adult Care. I'm quite crafty and also love to travel somewhere different and have visited China, Hong Kong & Mongolia.

I'd never worked in care before, though I cared for my grandparents & Mother-in-Law, who had dementia. My background includes performing arts and administration. I support several charities, enjoy baking, cooking & spending time in my garden. I'm also a keen miniaturist!
