Home care in West Yorkshire
Home care in West Yorkshire supports people to live independently and comfortably in the place they know best - home. Enter postcode of the person to find your nearest office and local care team.
The support we provide depends entirely on what you need. For many of our clients that is cooking, light housekeeping and good company, while others need more, including help with getting up and ready for the day and with medication through the day. The everyday errands are covered too, from the weekly shop to lifts to appointments, all arranged around you.
Feeling connected to people and familiar places does as much good as the practical help, and our Care Professionals love making that easier. For some clients that means a trip to a local golf club for lunch with friends, or visits from the grandchildren, and for others it is a walk along the canal towpath or a trip to the market hall, with company there and back.
Live-in care also suits couples particularly well, because one Care Professional can support both partners at home, even when their needs are very different, so neither has to move and neither is left alone.
Whatever your situation, Home Instead can provide quality care to enable your loved one to stay where they belong: at home. Share your details here and one of our friendly advisors will reach out to answer your questions.
Thanks again for the great care you all are giving Mum, from someone so reluctant to accept care now looks forward daily to her Care Professionals. BIG achievement!

Our Care Starts With Connection
We spend time getting to know each person so we can match them to one of our Care Professionals who has the skills and compatible personality to provide the best possible care. One of our local Care Managers visits you at home to understand your needs, your routines and the kind of person you would feel comfortable with, and we introduce your Care Professional before they move in, so care starts with someone you have already met.
Living alongside you day to day, your Care Professional comes to know what is normal for you, which means the little things, eating less than usual or a quieter mood, get noticed early and mentioned to our team before they grow into larger concerns.
Your Care Professional will have a bedroom of their own, work an agreed day of usually eight to ten hours with breaks, and sleep at the house, so someone is close by overnight whenever needed.
Our Home Care Services
We're ready to help you make an informed, confident choice for your loved one, with bespoke and easily-adapted packages designed around their needs.
Hourly Home Care
When your loved one begins to need more frequent support, our flexible home care solutions help them stay safe and independent at home. We don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we personalise your experience with responsive, attentive, and genuinely compassionate care, so you can feel reassured they are in capable hands.
We understand how overwhelming it can be to leave your loved one if they live with a condition like dementia, arthritis, or diabetes. Our highly experienced Care Professionals are matched based on their specialist knowledge and expertise, so you can feel content knowing your loved one's health conditions are carefully monitored and managed.
We are proud to be the benchmark for exceptional care, so all of our qualified Care Professionals receive training that goes above and beyond the industry standard. When it comes to complex health conditions, you can rest assured that your loved one's safety and wellbeing is always a top priority.
Our live-in care provides round-the-clock support and offers a welcome alternative to residential care, empowering your loved one to remain independent in the environment they know. With person-centred care from someone they recognise, older individuals can benefit from familiarity, friendship, and a consistent care plan.

Every Care Professional is directly employed by us, DBS checked and fully trained before they begin, and we support them properly throughout their time with you, with regular supervision, continued training and a Care Manager overseeing our live-in care. Our service is regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, so the standards are checked independently as well.
Whenever you or your family have questions, our local teams are knowledgeable and easy to reach, and always happy to talk on the phone or sit down together face to face.
