Before anything is arranged, we come out to meet you, talk through the support you would like, and answer every question. You meet your Care Professional properly before they move in. They will need a bedroom of their own, and we agree the practical details, such as food arrangements, with you from day one. It is also worth knowing that a live-in Care Professional does not work every hour of the day. They typically work eight to ten hours, agreed with you, and take daily breaks, while still being there overnight should anything unexpected happen. Most clients have two Care Professionals who take it in turns, each living in for a few weeks before handing over to the other. That way there is never a gap, and never a stranger at the door.
Our Care Professionals are chosen as much for their kindness as their experience.
