If they'd rather sit and share a crossword in the evening while their Care Professional sorts the kitchen, that's fine too. People stay involved in decisions about their own day. Where someone enjoys getting out, their Care Professional can accompany them, whether that's a gentle walk through the grounds at Callendar House, attending a community group, or keeping up with a regular appointment. What that looks like depends entirely on the person, their mobility and their care plan.

When a relative is coordinating someone’s care, it can take over. There are phone calls to make, updates to follow and the constant worry about whether everything is going well at home. Live-in care can ease some of that pressure, so visits and calls feel more like family time again. We respect how much relatives may already be doing. Our role is to manage the day-to-day practicalities, while the team supporting Stirling and Falkirk provides a clear point of contact for questions or updates.
