Our Care Professionals regularly accompany clients to local events and community gatherings, where familiar faces and settings provide comfort and stimulation. We’ve built wonderful relationships with the staff at Northfields Library, who run dementia-friendly reading sessions that many of our clients look forward to attending. Ealing’s Dementia Concern centre has become a favourite destination for many of our clients too, offering specialised activities that our Care Professionals help them fully engage with and enjoy while maintaining those important social connections that brighten their days.
We are led by Registered Care Manager, Paschalina, whose nursing background and Master's in dementia brings exceptional expertise to our Northfields care team. We personally train all our Care Professionals in dementia support techniques that focus on dignity, patience, and understanding the unique communication needs of someone living with dementia. The training we provide goes well beyond industry standards. This dedication to specialist training carries through into our strong ties across the Northfields community.
