Dementia Care in Marks Tey

Our specialised dementia care in Marks Tey is thoughtfully tailored to each person’s unique journey with memory loss. Around 35% of our clients are living with dementia, and we understand that no two experiences are the same so support must evolve with changing needs. All our Care Professionals receive City & Guilds Assured Dementia Training, making us the only home care provider with this respected qualification. In our 2024 PEAQ results, 100% of clients said we adapt effectively and rated our overall quality of service as excellent. Unlike many care services, we never rush visits. Our one-hour minimums allow genuine, trusting relationships to form with consistent, non-uniformed Care Professionals who really get to know your loved one.

Our Marks Tey Team is With You Through Every Step

We are led by Care Manager Amanda, who brings 30 years of experience in both residential and community care settings, offering unparalleled expertise in supporting those living with dementia. Our Deputy Care Manager and Care Coordinator also have extensive experience working with people living with dementia, ensuring our office team truly understands the challenges faced by clients and their families. Our field care supervisors regularly visit both clients and Care Professionals in Marks Tey and surrounding villages, providing ongoing support and ensuring our value-based care approach is consistently maintained. Our local dementia support extends beyond individual care through active partnerships across the Braintree district. As members of the Braintree Dementia Action Alliance, we host an annual information event at Braintree Village during Dementia Awareness Week, alongside Braintree District Council and local charities. We attend monthly dementia drop-ins at Braintree Town Hall, offering guidance on technology-enabled care options from the county council. Our ‘What’s On Where’ guide connects people to support and social groups, including Carers First groups in Halstead and Braintree. This summer, we’re proud to host the Virtual Dementia Bus to further raise awareness.
