Here in Balham, our dementia care service is built around understanding that every journey with dementia is uniquely personal. We’re proud to be rated CQC Outstanding and recognised as a Top 20 Home Care Provider, offering specialist dementia support right in the comfort of your loved one’s home. Our Care Professionals receive City & Guilds Assured Dementia Training, ensuring they have the expertise to provide compassionate, person-centred care for each stage of dementia. We believe the little things matter – that’s why we don’t wear uniforms (helping clients feel at ease with a friend rather than a ‘carer’), offer one-hour minimum visits, and tailor our approach to what your loved one needs today, not what works for our schedule.

We regularly accompany clients to our dementia cafés across Wandsworth, Lambeth and Dulwich, creating opportunities for social connection in supportive environments specifically designed for people living with dementia. Many of our clients enjoy trips to local spots like The Bedford for their accessible community events, or quieter outings to Du Cane Court café, where our Care Professionals know just how to create comfortable, low-pressure social experiences.
We are led by Tony, who brings 14 years of care experience and a personal passion for dementia support as an Alzheimer's Volunteer and Dementia Ambassador who has recruited over 2,200 Dementia Friends. Tony's personal experience spending two months in hospital with a broken back has instilled in our entire team a profound understanding of how excellent care impacts both mental and physical wellbeing, it's not just business for us, it's deeply personal. Our Care Manager and Deputy both hold Level 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care, ensuring your loved one's care plan is developed with genuine professional insight.
This personal understanding is reflected in the active role we play across the community. We're active members of the Dementia Action Alliance, working collaboratively with other organisations to make our local area more dementia-friendly and accessible. Our three dementia cafés across Dulwich, Lambeth and Wandsworth provide welcoming spaces where clients and families can find community and understanding, away from the pressures of everyday environments. We've partnered with King's College Hospital on academic research initiatives focused on improving dementia care outcomes, while our popular "Singing for the Brain" sessions in Dulwich bring the proven benefits of music therapy to local residents living with dementia.
