On 4th September 2019, on behalf of our Charity, Director Sonia Thapa received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services (QAVS), the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK. The ceremony was held at 33 Holborn and on behalf the Queen, Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Greater London handed over the awards to the winners.

Carole and Pat win "CAREGiver of The Quarter" Award

We are glad to announce the winners of second quarter of 2019 – and they are Carole Pavey and Patricia Rowland. Both, Carole and Pat have gone above and beyond for their clients and supported them to remain in the community. Carole has been working with Home Instead since 2017 and during this period she has made a huge difference in her clients’ lives, she is extremely committed and reliable CAREGiver, who always put her clients first and would never let them down. Whereas Pat has been working with us since beginning of 2018 and during this period, she has built very close relationship with her clients and always went extra miles for them. Both, Carole and Pat have contributing in our endeavors to change the face of ageing throughout Greenwich & Bexley.
