Do you care for a loved one? At Home Instead Epping Forest we are committed to supporting older adults in their own homes and understand that being a family carer can be challenging and overwhelming. We are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of both you and your loved ones.

We invite you to join us at Abridge Surgery on Monday 10th June for an informal chat with Sue from the surgery and Maureen, our Community Relationship Manger. This event is an opportunity to gather valuable information and advice in a relaxed and supportive environment where carers can share their concerns, experiences, and learn about the support available to them.

Abridge, a small village on the outskirts of Epping and Theydon, is known for its close-knit community, and Abridge Surgery is the only medical practice serving this area. This event will be held in the foyer, ensuring we are easily accessible and visible to all visitors. We look forward to seeing you there!

Meet Special Guests at our June Memory Lane Event

In addition to our Carer’s Week event, we are excited to promote our upcoming ‘Memory Lane’ gathering on the 12th June. These monthly events are incredibly beneficial to our clients living with dementia and their families, offering essential respite to carers in the local community.

We are thrilled to announce a special guest for this month’s event: Danielle and her Border Collie, Baloo, from Essex Therapy Dogs. We anticipate that their presence will contribute to a fun and engaging afternoon for everyone involved.

When you join us at our Memory Lane gatherings, our goal is to offer valuable insights and advice through supportive sessions, help facilitate connections with fellow community members and to immerse yourself in a nurturing environment.

We hope to see many of you at our Carer’s Week event and our June Memory Lane gathering. Your participation and feedback are invaluable in helping us support our community.
