Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham Celebrates ‘Outstanding’ CQC Rating for the Second Time

We couldn't be prouder of our team!

Going above and beyond

What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that we were rated Outstanding in four out of five categories.

To put this into context: to receive an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating, a provider typically needs to be rated Outstanding in just two of the five key areas. By doubling that requirement and achieving it in four, Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham has gone significantly beyond the standard expectations. This result places our service in a remarkably small, elite group of care providers nationally.

Our CQC results at a glance:

The CQC looked closely at how we support our clients and their families. We are proud to have been rated:

  • Outstanding for Caring
  • Outstanding for Safe
  • Outstanding for Responsive
  • Outstanding for Well-led
  • Good for Effective

These results recognise not only the quality of care we provide but also the deep relationships we build and the values that guide us every day.

CQC rating in 2017

Back in December 2017, we were honoured to become the first home care provider in Eastbourne, Hailsham and the surrounding area to receive an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating. To be awarded it again (and to have strengthened our ratings from three Outstanding areas to four) reflects our ongoing commitment to learning, listening, and always striving to do better for the people who trust us.

Soraya, Owner and Director of Care, said:

“We are absolutely delighted. This recognition belongs to our whole team, whose kindness, dedication, and professionalism make such a difference to the lives of the people we support every day. Our clients really are at the heart of everything we do. Knowing that we continue to provide outstanding care that helps people live independently, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes means so much to us. We’re incredibly proud of our Care Professionals.”
