Their thoughtfulness and dedication are inspirational. They work tirelessly helping our clients retain their dignity whilst remaining independent their own homes across Nottinghamshire.
They arrive with a smile and friendly welcome for clients and their families. Many of our CAREGivers entered the care sector because they want to make a difference to lives of the elderly, some of them having cared for loved ones of their own. Every day they provide comfort, companionship, practical help and personal care. The quality of our CAREGiver's work remains paramount; they continue to provide support, stimulation and personal care to our clients with absolute dedication and commitment.

Helen Speed: Care Manager
Having worked the last six years within the learning disability field, I have decided to re-direct my career path towards supporting and understanding the needs of older people. I feel very excited and passionate about the vision of Home Instead Senior Care and am looking forward to working alongside Richard, Jo and the rest of the fantastic team in the future development and progression of the business.
I have just recently completed my QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and children and Young People's Services, and I am now looking forward to putting this into practice. I have lived in the Newark area for the majority of my life, brought up 2 children and now am very lucky to have a grand-daughter to spoil!!
Denise Pitts - Training & Retention Manager
Having worked for Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver and Senior CAREGiver for the last three years, I am really excited to become part of the full-time team as Acting Training and Retention Manager.
My role will include training new CAREGivers throughout their initial induction; this will provide the confidence and skills needed to deliver the compassionate and tailor made service that we strive to provide. I will also be assisting with continuous assessment and annual training as well as encouraging CAREGivers to take part in extra training that could benefit them and our clients.
I am based at the office and will be providing continuous support to our CAREGivers in order to make them feel comfortable and informed within their roles.
Ellie Perkins - Recruitment
I joined the Home Instead team in November 2015 and I have 8 years of experience within the care industry.
Initially, I joined as a CAREGiver before moving to Recruitment which gave me a better understanding for the need of Quality CAREGivers to look after our loved ones.
I am responsible for all aspects of recruiting new CAREGivers and following their progress, along with supporting the day to day running of the office.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, dining out and watching my daughter grow up.
Deborah Spilsbury - Administrator
Hi, I’m Deborah and my role at Home Instead Senior Care is Office Administrator, dealing with the day to administration and support of the office team. I have over 11 years’ experience working as an administrator in various roles. Previous to this, I was a mobile hairdresser and visited many people in their home. Most of my roles have been around helping others which is what I enjoy. Home Instead Senior Care has given me the opportunity to work within an industry that can truly make a difference to people’s lives and wellbeing. My new role is truly refreshing and I get to work with some amazing people. The team really have made me feel so welcome. I’m not local to East Bridgford but do have an older sister that lives in the village. I am married with 3 boys and I enjoy movies, leisurely walks, holidays ‘basically anything that involves spending quality time with my family and friends’. I really am enjoying working with the team and I look forward to the future ahead.
Richard and Jo Aram: Owners
After 15 years of working for an international airline as cabin crew, Richard decided to hang up his wings and seek a fresh challenge. For Richard the opportunity to join the Home Instead Senior Care team as a franchise owner has enabled him to continue in the service sector by providing industry-leading care for his clients, but also allowed him and his wife, Jo, to engage more meaningfully with the local community. Both Richard and Jo are committed to providing compassionate care to those within their community who need it most. Along with their Care Manager, Helen, they are passionate about making a difference for the elderly and also developing a rewarding environment for their CAREGivers to deliver that service. Outside of work, Richard and Jo spend most of their time looking after their very active 4 year old twins!
Monika Majewska: Scheduler
I’ve work in care for 11 years. Initially I came to UK as a living in care and stayed with “my English family” till March 2018. In between I also worked as a support worker for care agency where then I became a scheduler. I’m passionate about improving people`s lives. I’m really excited to become part of Home Instead.
8 years ago I met my husband and now we have a daughter Amelia who is going to school this September. All three of us love traveling and spending time with family and friends. In spare time I like cooking, reading and recently I started practicing yoga.
