Home Instead Senior Care Durham will be holding a FREE dementia workshop on Tuesday 15th April 2014 at Moor Chambers in Framwellgate Moor, Durham.
The session starts at 12.00pm and will finish at approximately 3pm. Refreshments will be provided.

The ground-breaking family and friends workshop has been adapted from the City & Guilds accredited dementia training programme that has been specifically developed for Home Instead and our CAREGivers.
They helped both family carers and community members to identify the typical signs of dementia and gain a better understanding of the condition, as well as arming them with effective tips and techniques for managing the different and often challenging behaviours associated with the dementia.
We have held a number of these workshops over the last 6 months and they have been very well received, with family carers saying they feel much more equipped and prepared to support their loved ones.
