Reducing Our Footprint, Not Our Impact
We’ve taken a big step forward in our environmental journey by committing to offset 100% of our calculated carbon emissions, including energy used in our office and the travel our Care Professionals make every day to support clients across Dartford and Bexley.
While these operations are essential to the high-quality care we provide, we also recognise the impact they can have on the environment. So, we decided to do something about it.
Partnering with Nature to Make a Difference
To help us achieve this milestone, we’ve partnered with Make it Wild, a brilliant UK-based organisation dedicated to rewilding and restoring nature. Their work includes planting native trees, restoring meadows, creating ponds, and protecting natural habitats. Their purpose-driven approach aligns perfectly with our values.
Through this partnership, we’re now actively supporting projects that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, balancing out the emissions we produce through our operations. But the benefits go beyond carbon offsetting. By supporting Make it Wild’s work, we’re also helping to:
– Support biodiversity by creating thriving habitats for birds, insects, and wildlife
– Improve local air quality, thanks to trees that absorb pollutants and release clean oxygen
– Restore natural landscapes, allowing ecosystems to recover and flourish
