Meet the team

Picture of Home Instead Dartford's CAREGivers

Our CAREGivers - the 'Heart' of our service!

Our wonderful CAREGivers are specially selected on the basis of their personalities. Kindness, empathy, reliability and a genuine interest in other people are all key attributes that we look for.

After successfully completing an initial three days' 'Learning and Development Assessment Program' with us, to ensure that they have the skills they need, they are hand-picked for each of our clients. We match them based on interests and background to ensure that quality relationships can be built.

Our CAREGivers receive ongoing specialist training, mentoring and support to ensure that they always deliver the very best care. They don’t wear uniforms – just a Home Instead ID badge – and a lovely smile!

We are looking for kind people to join us in Erith, Belvedere, Bexleyheath, Crayford, Abbey Wood, Joyden's Wood, Wilmington, Dartford, Gravesend or Gravesham to look after our lovely clients in the local area.

If you would like one of our team to help you or a loved one or if you would like to find out about joining the team, please get in touch with us on 01322923750 or email

My name is Rebecca and I am very happy to be joining the team as the Scheduler/Care Coordinator.

I started my care career around 9 years ago and have worked in various different care roles.

I am very passionate about domiciliary care and strongly believe everyone should have the choice to stay home for as long as they want and whilst it is safe.

I am a Dementia Friend and Dementia Friend Champion and this subject interests me.

My family are very important to me, including my now 10-year-old daughter.

I feel the same way about my clients and would like them to receive the care I would be happy with my family receiving.

Hello, my name is Angela and I’m the Care manager at Home Instead Dartford.

I have been in care for over 25 years. I started as a carer in a residential care home and realised very quickly this was the career for me. I have worked in a variety of care settings from residential/nursing to domiciliary care and managing end of life care in the community.

I have also worked in the training side as an area manager supporting my team to deliver NVQ/QCF diplomas in health and social care, this for me also gave the chance to give back and tell my journey to learners who wanted to develop their skills and knowledge and possibilities the world of care offers.

Most recently I have been a care manager with different companies but choose to find a company right for me, and Home Instead Dartford is that company, there values and beliefs stood out to me instantly. It is important to me that clients receive the best possible care to enable them to stay at home.

On a personal note, my family are the most important part of my life and spending quality time with them outside work is paramount. Home Instead gives the work-life balance I have been looking for.

Christina & Ram

Hello, we are Christina & Ram, the Founders and Owners of Home Instead Dartford.

Everything we do is for the two most important people in our lives: our wonderful twin boys; double the trouble, but also double the love.

We both had personal experiences in our family and friends circle, in particular with Christina’s grandmother and an elderly friend of ours, that made us realize the importance of even having the option to stay at home as long as possible with the right care available.

Age should not mean the loss of independence and dignity. Everyone should have the opportunity to stay safely at home with genuinely caring people available to support them.

We have both been working in the hospitality industry for 20+ years before starting this company and are confident that we can transfer our customer service skills and genuinely caring natures to this new venture in order to provide the best possible care for all our clients.

Home Instead Senior Care Dartford is not just a business for us – we want to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives and help them to enjoy longer happy times in their own homes.
