Home Instead delivers Water to Elderly Residents

When Cheltenham residents found themselves without water recently the Home Instead office team made sure their elderly clients received their own personal supply - direct to their door!

Up to 7,000 homes were affected in the GL51 area of Cheltenham when a pipe burst.  Seven Trent Water discovered the damaged 24” pipe in a field in nearby Churchdown which left residents without water until the fracture could be fixed.

On hearing about the water shortage Home Instead Operations Manager Michelle and Owner Amanda immediately stocked up with bottles of water and set off around Cheltenham delivering supplies to those in need.

Michelle commented, “Amanda and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting those of our clients who were left gasping for a cup of tea when the water pipe burst. It was lovely to spend time chatting over a much-needed cuppa and to be able to reassure all involved that help was at hand”.
